Human Anatomy/Equine Anatomy

We focus on many aspects of ensuring that our horses are comfortable. Saddle and bridle fit, teeth and hoof balance, and bodywork to name a few and all of these are super important!! Our posture is one aspect that is sometimes overlooked. How much emphasis do you put on your posture??? Not only will a healthy posture make you feel better, but it will help your horse also!!! Our posture influences the horse both in the saddle and on the ground.

In the morning, we will look at our postures and discover ways to find neutral. There will also be exercises to feel what our horses feel from us when we are not in neutral posture. Everyone will also get the opportunity to be balanced in the saddle.

The afternoon class will go over some crucial parts of equine anatomy. We ask a lot of our horses and it’s important for us as owners to understand how their bodies work. Having knowledge of a weight bearing posture will help decrease compensation and bracing patterns. This class will have an equine skeleton to help in understanding what’s happening underneath the skin. We will also look at some horses to begin to develop the eye on good and bad posture in the horse.

Join us for the day for $100 or join us for the morning or afternoon session. If attending one session, cost is $55. Deposit of $25 is required to hold your spot. Magnawave sessions will also be available at the end of the day. Sessions will be limited and first come, first serve.

There will be a one hour lunch break. There is a frig. There is also fast food close by. We are located 25 minutes North of Green Bay.
