About the event
Most of us have struggled with confidence in our horsemanship in one form or the other.
.
What I’ve learned about fear, is that it is completely individual. Fear keeps us safe. Even if others think our fear is completely irrational, it is very real to the person experiencing it.
This workshop will focus on three aspects of gaining confidence.
One of the ways we can gain confidence is feeling balanced. We will spend some time on our posture and feeling secure in the saddle. Security gives us confidence.
Knowledge also gives us confidence. We will learn how our horses think and learn. The more we can understand them, the more confident we will be when we ask something of them.
The last part of this workshop will focus specifically on our fear and how we can work through it.
I will ask each participant to send me a brief email about their fear and what they are hoping to gain from this workshop.
Each participant will go home with a plan in place to continue gaining confidence at home.
Cost is $200 for the weekend. You may participate Saturday only for $125.
Auditing is available for $50/person.
Auditing price is increased due to the lecture portion of this workshop.
